Fall Colors on Middle Fork Trail
Date: 10/21/2020: WOW BEAUTIFUL! Colors in October are stunning. This fairly easy trail is one of the most beautiful fall hikes I have ever been on. Marguerite and I did this hike in mid-October 2020 (to escape COVID-19 and the election). The walk takes you along Taylor Creek, through colorful fall leaves that border the trail as it passes through high canyon walls, culminating at its most unique feature, Double Arch Alcove. This is a must-do hike.
Marg’s Notes: Megan’s Birthday! Hike at Middle Taylors Creek in Kolob Canyon Zion. It was very chilly in the morning. We wore our jackets. A beautiful fall hike. Great fall colors! Hiked along the creek crossing it many times. There were a lot of people, but still one of our best hikes ever! We hiked 6.22 miles on an out & back trail. Lots of pictures taken! Time change @ Nevada/Arizona border. Drove up to the end of Kolob Canyon Road for lunch. More beautiful scenery.
